چکیده
This paper investigates the ability of insulation cellulose fiber powder (CFP) to be pelletized for its valorization as biomass fuel. CFP is a waste originating from manufacturing that lacks any method because boron salts content. A sugar byproduct and lignosulfonate (LS) were considered binders pellet process. Physical tests carried out characterize pellets’ performance. Chemical combustion state potential green energy source. Raw showed good in pelletization durability range 15–30% moisture The pellet’s density decreased water content increased. Binders increased length before after test. also absorption, demonstrating decrease against environmental factors. lower heating value. Ultimate analysis slight Nitrogen increase both binder combinations could potentially raise pollutant NOx emissions. All adequate characteristics, but ash production. Additives volatile matter fixed carbon, which facilitate more stable combustion. DTA curves mass loss rate stage combinations, an indicator ashes’ chemical compositions when analyzed by XPS contents oscillating between 10.03% 16.42%, possibility recovering them ashes.

متن کاملCellulose Powder from Olive Industry Solid Waste
In the present work, a method for extracting cellulose from olive industry solid waste has been developed. The method involves subjecting solid olive waste to kraft pulping, followed by multistep bleaching processes. The totally free chlorine chemical bleaching sequence APEP was the most effective and gave an average cellulose yield of about 35%. The extracted cellulose was extensively characte...

Solid Recovered Fuels made from commercial/industrial and MSW type waste streams containing high heat value plastics do offer a number of synergies for biomass combustors [1]. The paper covers technical and operational synergies to increase biomass combustion efficiency in a grate fired system typical for waste to energy technology. Results from small laboratory scale tests have proven a more s...
